Hors-série L'Objet d'Art Corps In-visibles

This special issue of L'Objet d'Art accompanies the “Corps in.visibles” exhibition at the Musée Rodin from October 15, 2024 to March 2, 2025.

The institution's director, Amélie Simier, writes an enlightening editorial, while the interview with co-curator Marine Kisiel, curator in charge of the 19th-century fashion department at the Palais Galliera, gives an insight into the exhibition's ambition and approach. Richly illustrated articles by co-curator Isabelle Collet, General Curator of the Rodin Museum, explore the gradual genesis of the famous Étude de robe de chambre pour Balzac, its contrasting reception and singular posterity.
