Michel-Ange Rodin Exhibition Notebook

A comparative analysis of the works of Michelangelo and Auguste Rodin, accompanying the exhibition catalogue Corps vivants.

The authors compare the Italian Renaissance with the beginnings of the modern era in order to highlight both artistic legacies and stylistic innovations. Through eight themes — including techniques, materials, and drawings — they draw parallels between around forty works.
