The Kiss gold plated Brooch
Titlee X Musée Rodin
Created by Titlee for the musée Rodin at the occasion of the centenary of the death of A. Rodin, this engraved gilt brass brooch is inspired by the Kiss.
The Kiss originally represented Paolo and Francesca, two characters borrowed, from Dante's Divine Comedy.
The fluid, smooth modelling, the very dynamic composition and the charming theme made this group an instant success. Since no anecdotal detail identified the lovers, the public called it The Kiss, an abstract title that expressed its universal character very well.
Launched in 2009 by Séverine Balanqueux, Titlee offers beautiful, delicate and imaginative costume jewelry. Entirely handmade in France, Titlee jewelry comes to life in the hands of expert welders, enamelers, and gilders.
