How can I place an order on boutique.musee-rodin.fr/en?

The Customer places an order for one or several products offered for sale on the Rodin online store. The procedure for placing an order online consists of the following stages: Shopping basket / Identification / Address / Delivery / Confirmation / Payment. If the bank concerned refuses to authorize payment, the order is automatically cancelled.

Once the payment has been made, the Customer receives an e-mail confirming the order. The confirmation e-mail acknowledges the receipt of the order. This e-mail proves that the order has been placed and the Seller advises the Customer to keep it.

Qu'est-ce que le 3D Secure ? Cela me bloque dans ma commande !

3D Secure is called "Verified by Visa" by Visa, and "MasterCard Secure Code" by MasterCard.

This system was invented to avoid NOC (No Card Present) fraud schemes, that is to say the fraudulent payments using stolen credit card (card numbers were stolen, for example).

For a 3D Secure payment to be made, you must have a 3DSecure card and the website must support 3D Secure too.

Most of the new credit cards support 3DSecure.

For the older cards,switching 3DSecure may be automatic, or your bank will ask you to sign an addendum to your contract.

When performing an online purchase with 3DSecure, you will need to enter the card number, expiration and security code and after entering these information, you will be redirected to the website of your bank for authentication.

You will be asked to enter additional information to prove that you are the owner of the card.

Each bank is free to choose the authentication method. Among these are:

a classic password.

an electronic device (generates a code for each transaction).

a code sent by SMS

Can you pay by other systems?

You can pay by another way, with or "old system" (also with credit card). It's easy.

You wil have to print a document I will send you, to fill the form and to sent back to me the document by scan or fax.

When does my order will be sent?

So as to ship the fast and safely, the Musée Rodin works with AXE Solutions, a leader in the distribution of museum gifts.

To be concrete, your order is sent the day after the payment. The orders passed on Friday, Saturday and Sunday are all sent on Monday morning


How can I track the parcel?

After the sending of your product you will receive a tracking number by email. Then, you have to go to this website:

About the delivery of your order

What are the shipping costs and delays?

The Rodin Museum and the carrier Docsourcing ensure deliveries all around the world. The expertise of the two companies will ensure efficient shipping and receiving. Of course, exchange and repayment are possible under legal conditions explained below.

Prices are the lowest we can propose. The musée Rodin does not earn money on shipping costs.

Prices depend of the weight and the dimensions of the parcel. That is why for certain products as the sculpture reproductions (The Thinker, The Kiss…), shipping costs seem a bit expensive: parcels are voluminous and heavy. 


How are the products packed?

The Rodin Museum and the carrier AXE Solutions ensure deliveries all around the world. The expertise of the two companies will ensure efficient packaging and shipping.

AXE Solutions specializes in the sending of museum books and products. For sculpture reproductions (as The Thinker, The Kiss, Iris…), we use a «special protection» to wrap it. Thus, we have very little merchandise returns.

What is your return policy?

The Customer has a period of seven working days in which to return the products, at his expense, if they fail to give complete satisfaction for any reason whatsoever. If the Customer exercises the right of withdrawal, he will have the choice between asking Customer Service for a refund, excepting the charges for returning the item, and exchanging the product for another product of the same quality and value.

In order to do this, he or she will have to cut out and complete the customer return authorization at the bottom of the delivery slip attached to the parcel, and send it with the said product(s) in their original packaging in perfect condition to the following address:

What is a sculpture reproduction?

Is it possible to buy a bronze?

Il est possible de s'adresser au musée Rodin pour acquérir des éditions originales de bronze. La réglementation prévoit que sont considérées oeuvres d’art originales, les éditions de sculptures exécutées sous la responsabilité de l'auteur ou de ses ayants droits dans la limite de 12 exemplaires numérotés.

Le musée Rodin, en tant qu'ayant droit de Rodin, met en pratique cette limitation prévue notamment par le décret n° 93-163 du 2 février 1993, relatif au musée Rodin version consolidée au 7 décembre 2005, et procède ou fait procéder, sous son contrôle, à des éditions originales de bronzes tirées à partir des moules et des modèles en plâtre figurant dans les collections.

Ces éditions sont limitées à douze, numérotées de 1/8 à 8/8 et de I/IV à IV/IV, y compris les éditions originales existantes.

Si vous souhaitez obtenir des renseignements sur les éditions originales de bronzes, notre Service client vous donnera le nom et le contact de la personne en charge de cette activité au sein du musée Rodin.
